Mindzi is an education and digital-learning initiative operated by Trev Pery Consulting, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
This Privacy Policy applies to Mindzi websites, e-books, courses, learning resources, workshops, events, downloadable products, digital products, and future child-focused products or services offered by Mindzi.

What information we collect

Children’s data
Many Mindzi products are meant for children, but purchases and registrations must be completed by a parent, guardian, teacher or authorised adult.
We do not ask children to independently submit personal information for e-book purchases. Where a future course, certificate, competition, workshop or child product requires a child’s name, age/class, learning progress or other details, such information will be collected only through an adult and only for the stated purpose.
We do not knowingly use children's personal data to target advertisements, create marketing profiles, or advertise directly to children. Our marketing activities are intended for parents, guardians, teachers and schools who make purchasing or enrolment decisions on behalf of children. We do not sell children's personal data to any third party.
How we use information
- To create and confirm orders.
- To process payments through Razorpay or another payment processor.
- To generate individual GST invoices when requested, create consolidated tax records for eligible orders, and maintain accounting records.
- To deliver e-books, course links, downloads, resources, certificates or product access.
- To provide customer support, corrections, refunds or replacements where applicable.
- To send important transactional updates related to purchases or courses.
- To improve our products, website, content and user experience.
- To comply with applicable Indian laws, tax obligations and lawful requests.
We may send updates about related Mindzi educational resources, courses, books, events or initiatives. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as it is required to provide our services or to comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.
If you request deletion of your personal data, we will delete it wherever reasonably possible.
However, certain records such as invoices, payment records, tax documents, or information required for fraud prevention or dispute resolution may need to be retained for the period required by law.
Where immediate deletion is not possible, we will explain why and restrict the use of that information to those purposes only.
Your rights and choices
You may request access, correction, update, withdrawal of consent, or deletion of personal data, subject to legal and operational requirements. Parents or guardians may make requests relating to a child’s personal data.

Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to ensure that the website functions correctly, remembers basic preferences, improves website performance, and protects the website against spam, fraud, unauthorised access and misuse.

These tools help us reach parents, guardians, teachers and schools who may be interested in Mindzi products.
We do not knowingly use children's personal data for targeted advertising or commercial profiling.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. Payment details are processed by payment providers and are not stored by Mindzi. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep data protected and access limited.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Mindzi launches new books, courses, physical products, features or services. The latest version will be posted on the website with an updated date.
